36 Couper sent me a link of this ride....
Outta my league..... But I really like it.

Practical....no..... but its got a 60's show rod feel that appeals to me.....

The "flowing metal" theme was taken a bit too far IMO but it's a really nice modern take on a 60's show rod. It's the reason I bought that month's Rod N Custom mag.

Looks like it came outa Aarons shop. I like it. I especially like the way the interior was done.

Sweet car, Show rods are kind of like ******* bunnies. Great to look at, perfection taken to extremes, but totally impractical for everyday use.

As a kid I drooled over the Ala Kart, Lil' Coffin, All of Roths creations, etc. Stuff dreams are made of.

When I saw that car from across the room at the SF Rod and Custom show in January I was like, "Hell yeah!"
Upon closer inspection some of the details left me a bit dry----too many pointy brackets not to mention the cut out flame backing plates---but to each their own...

I like the color on this car. Also, the seats are insane.

It's sweet Jeff, thanks for posting it. I agree about the pointy brackets and I do believe that it might not be drivable, but it is still sweet

Call me a homer, I like mine better

  16. HEY! Wait a minute! That things got radial tyres...............

That's an *** cramp waiting to happen. Not that it will get driven too much. It is pretty sweet, though.

How about the airbags on the front of a fenderless car?

Overall, I think it is really outstanding, but like Marcy, I think the flame brackets & stuff like that, detract more than they add, but it definitely has a great look to it.

I saw your car at detroit and fell in love.... I really would love to do a 27.
I see now all the brackets and such.....and as Marcie said.... it leaves ya dry.
But the overall stance and FEEL really appeals to me.

very cool, but I'd rather see it without bags and some space between the frame and the pavement.

Wasn't it just in R&C or Streetrodder? Those are the only ones I sub to and I know I've seen it.

Marcy is right, though. And ditch the bags. I like the blue one Clark did a few years back. Another HAMBsters got it now.

Seats look like toilet stools, but they are clever and unique for sure. Maybe it's a bit over-the-top here and there, but its built to show. It hits the '60s look pretty right-on.

And hey, I just can't believe anyone doesn't love the paint!

Dig the hell out of it ...except for the flame cut outs... very well done. Seats are insane, not very comfortable, but then again its most likely not driven very much or long distances anyway

That car used to run on dubs and low pro's. Much, much, much better now. i'm quite fond of the gauges going through the windshield.

when i first saw this car in R&C, at first sight i thought it was killer, but upon further inspection some details I could do without like most of you guys said. The air bags front and back would have to go, the pointy brackets, flame backing plates, im not a fan of the gauges through the windsheild but they score points for originality. I also dont like the roof profile, the rake on the front of the roof starts mid door which doesnt quite look right to me had it started at the b-pillar it might look better. But all in all the car is pretty bad ***
