I'm getting ready to finish the front end of the g***er. I need to know at what angle to I set the shackle's in relation tho the springs and the frame? I'm guessing that they need to as straight as possible? If I set them at say a 45* angle wouldn't they collapse against the frame once there is weight on it???? Hope I explained this good.
    Thanks

Thanks now how do I set it up with NO load and have it come out correct??? Or do I have to hold it in place with C clamps and guess until I get it correct???

I've always heard/been taught to set them up flat/horizontal with no load, and then when you let everything down and they are under load they should be 45 degrees down...so that how I did mine, and it worked like a charm for me..whether I got lucky or not, who knows...but thats how I did mine...
