The Goodguys events in Puyallup and Spokane are two of my top 3-4 events in the schedule. Spokane is always a great time because I have so many friends in the area. I always have a good time with them no matter what!

All of the Spokaniacs, especially my clubmates in Thee Inland Emperors, never disappoint. Big thanks to John for getting me a tour of Coeur D'Alene on his sister's boat. That place is amazing!

Oh yeah...the event. Like Puyallup, there are a bunch of traditional rides that attend. The swap is small, but potent. This year it was ****ing HOT!!! 98 on Friday, 100 on Saturday, and 107 on Sunday!!!!! I thought I was going to p*** out while announcing the awards on Sunday afternoon. Sure beats rain though!

Anyway, here's some of what I saw. More in the Gazette.

The first several are from the Hot Rod Tour on that Thursday.

Fonzi loved the wheel and tire combo. Hot rodding was always about using forward technology, not going backwards. Swap 'em out and that car has a lot of potential.

Actually this is the robotic Jeff Allizon. Note the "z" in the name. It was created soon after the death of the human Jeff Allison. It was only meant to be a prototype, but it escaped the lab and has yet to be captured.

Did you by chance get a pic of the rear of this truck? I liked the tail lights but have no clue what they are from. I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pics :(

As always great pics, KIRK! and thank you very for sharing them with us that cannot make all these cool shows. You and your sidekick The Fonz certainly have "The Eye". The PNW always has the coolest traditional stuff for sure.

Just one thing, you ripped on this cars wheel and tire combo  I agree a little less "flashy" paint like black, Tan, Royal Blue, Hunter Green, etc... and an early "A-4" all decked out would have done "it" for me personally. But according to your statement I expect to see pics of YOUR car with 20+ inch rollers, rubberband tires, Modern Fuel Injection, etc... if you consider yourself a REAL Hot Rodder, Right? I mean this whole site is about "looking backwards" to a better time in Hot Rodding and emulating it with our own spin.

Spoked wheels with a Hemi seems like asking for trouble...

It's good to see the Fonz in full force! Is he coming to Charlotte? If he is he'll dig many of the rides that'll be there.
    Great coverage like always.

    Thanks

Those are wonderfully sharp and color rich shots! What camera and lense are you using?

Great pics, I also noticed it seems they are more clear, if that is the right word. Love the Fonz. Great contribution.
