It's done. I saw it today at GAS and it's GLORIOUS. (sorry no pics were allowed) I might get to take some later though What an amazing collection. Aside from 5 Roth cars and a bunch of BDR artwork, Beau has an outstanding stash of Kenneth Howard's work; a couple of his handmade guns, a knife or three and a nice collection of his engraved hand tools. And the legendary striping box. I'm still peeling floor wax from my chin.
Yup, I was at GAS all day with Dave Shuten, great place and an Amazin' job. R&C will shoot the Orbitron in Sept. and we hear it'll be at Detroit with a few other cars from the Angel hair era! Hmmmmm FRITZ
Beau threw a sneak peek party for her the other night. Lots of close friends and family showed up. She came out awesome! There will be an Open house unveiling party for general public on October 18th at GAS. I'll post an up date in the next few days if anyones interested. m
I don't think the tv guys touched it. There was only one TV in the whole car and it was old. I didn't see any turntables, tattoo machines, cotton candy makers, condom dispensers, stripper poles, hot tubs or crack pipes *oops* -I mean Playstation3. It does however, have over 1,100 chromed parts. If the bling ain't enough, there's a restored 30s Packard Phaeton in there that's painted pink and purple. I must have just missed you Fritz, we got there as Dave was on his way out to the airport.

We were not allowed to take fotos at this event .. only the press and Beau's hired guns. There are some fotos in the resto-ration section of http://www.theorbitron.com that were taken when Jimmy C did the nose job a few months back. New fotos will be released after the press do their thing. I believe that folks will be allowed to snap at the big tado in October. m
This is like Christmas except better....my foot hasn't stopped tapping in anticipation since I heard it was dicovered! I'll be cured once I see it...
The answer is yes! Will they put fluids in it on order to drive it?... Now...That is the question............ m
