    S****e and all,

If you don't want times announced or displayed on the score board, be sure to tell the staging lane guy.

He will send you on a single, and we will turn the boards off.

Putting the N/T on your window wont' hurt either.

    later!

Gonna make it with the ol' roadster (ZOT) this year. The worn flathead ain't no power king, but the fun factor'll be up there. I'm guessin' somewhere 'round the 18's, ain't gonna wind it too hard. First time the ol' ride has been down the track since '71 or 2.
    Can't wait.

Hope I don't embar*** the car too much. It knows more 'bout this drag racin' stuff than I do!!
Just an ol' flathead in it these days, still fun though.

I always get a kick out of reading your posts and trying to guess which excuses you're going to use.

By the DOTD, the bugs will be worked out of our car. Keep in mind, our junky old 4 door had never even been DRIVEN, much less taken down a track. You had all the time in the world to get used to your car, learn it's quirks, etc. We rolled ours off the trailer, made a p***, adjusted from there, and STILL went OVER a 1/2 second faster than your fastest time at the DOTD. Not to mention, my very first p*** to ever drive the car was only 2 tenths slower than your fastest p*** at MoKan last year ! LMAO !

Not only the first time out, but the first time the car has EVER been driven except for a couple blocks down the road and back. I had never even driven a car with a 4 speed before--just late model, internal rail shifted ******s. We just had too many problems with the carb. It had a stumble about 3000-3500, and then it was just falling off at 6000 like it was running out of fuel. The last p*** was a 12.95@103. The 60ft was 1.75 on that last p***. Not bad with that stumble.

Well all I can say is 55 CHEVY RULE! You can ask Dennis (senior fried). I was a cook and a spectator and drove around in a golf cart. What a gold chainer, but had a blast. Shocker I can tell you Aaron would have left you eating dust all the way down the track. That dirt clod as Buzzard put it became a Tri 5 King that day! In the 12's with a more door just to dam cool.

Yeah but cheating never felt so GOOD, and running in the 12's in a 3000 lbs car with 2mi. on it speaks volumes. We are all here to have FUN and go as fast as we can, just remember that. All my cars have been build by other people that know more than I. But they are still my cars and I am having a blast and that is what it is all about! When this race between yall is done you both will have closure. Until the next race.

Your right Dennis ,i agree .I will just have to do my best and see what happens ,anythings possible i suppose .Nostalgia drag racing is all for fun anyway and i realised that finally ,as i hope they do.Aaron and Troy are both friends and if they feel they need help dialing it in ,more power to them ...
