We went to the Lemay's Car collection today in Parkland Washington for the 20th year in a row. We never get tired of seeing such an incredible display of every type of car you can think of. Well, I can think of just a few that are missing, But I'm sure they'll fill in the gaps. Harold "LUCKY" Lemay was a garbage collector in the northwest and had a fondness for anything "Antique'y". But he was a Car guy,and began poking around for old cars at a very young age. They say the collection is about 3700 cars strong, in different stages of completion. Harold passed a few years ago, but the legend lives on. Now managed by his wife, son, and other family members. Open to the public one day a year, We never miss it. Check it out. Here's a few Pics, if ya want more, I got em. B

I WAS THERE!! Awesome fun time. I was the guy with the HAMB t-shirt on. I came with my dads friend in the 39 Packard parked in the show area. He let me drive it back :)

They open it up for free just one time a year, but you are able to tour it any time for a cost of $15.00 a person. The tour takes several hours and the money goes to the up-keep of the cars and towards their building fund.

    from NAPA CA.

I worked that show in the summer of 2000, met Harold, his wife and family, they fed us breakfast, lunch and dinner for helping to get ready for the saturday show. the man was very polite and a genuine car guy. the show was at his house which had buildings everywhere and every building,I mean every building had cars, trucks, motorcycles, you name it he had it displayed ,plus the old military academy property had stuff in every building, somewhere I have a video I took when I was there. the pedal car wall had some rare stuff,my favorite was the pickup w/cabover camper pedalcar... post more pics and is the school still part of the show?

Yes it is. They are also building a new building(tent) to house a few hundred more cars at the acadamy. Getting bigger all the time. A lot had changed since our Club was there for a meeting a few months back. A huge event for sure. And yes, the family are great people. B

Cant believe ive never seen this collection. Living only an hour away and known about it for years. Some day. I was told He has the largest collection of Bantams in the US.
I heard he has like 30 or so coupes. Also that He bought all the remaining parts and tooling. Would love to see it. Was that a Bantam pickup (tan) setting up in the bed of another truck? Feder
