I was there for a few hours Sunday afternoon relaxing in the lawn chair with friend's from home. Had a good time "people watching" and talking with hot rodders. Met some Hambers for the first time too. Enjoyed it but was very hot. Like Cal (carkiller) I was already hot and burned from Good Guys even though I had my big "Texas shade tree" straw hat on all weekend.
i dunno who had that mstang... but they were sure revving the **** out of it... ha, did it sell? sorry for all the 49=51 fords... they are my turn on... and thats all i got before my camera took a death plunge on the rocks...
Cool pix-- Thanx --I ran for the shady burm up at the tree line, you could sit up there and see the brook running and cool off. Xlnt spot to see/hear the bands and watch all the action. A lot of rods and customs showed up mid afternoon and it was pretty packed. Our hero promoter Punk Rod Todd suffered some heatstroke and had to back off for a while, he was bustin his *** trying to keep all the activity goin and flowin. And it was a super well run event!! that show was freakin awesome. in case you heard anything, i'm the 18year old from wichita with a blue truck who's been pinstriping for only five weeks already doin cars. i plan on bein there from now on.
