We started with a 500.00 27 T fordor that had workable sheetmetal and rotted wood.

Removed the rear doors and shorten the 1/4 windows if you are tall you can leave them a little longer.

I didn't want the cab any longer than a roadster p/u

At that point the rear section was brought up to meet up with the front door jamb.

    Ended up with this

    Which evolved into this.

    And is now this.

A fordor is a lot easier to make a cab out of and you can make the extended cab as long or short as you like. The T fordor 1/4 widow is 19" wide we shortend it up to 5 1/2". Wish I would have left 3 more inches. We used the 26-27 roadster p/u lower 1/4 corner to make it look more correct as if Henry did it himself.:)

That looks pretty good indead. Hey though , it looks like the car you started with in the first picture is actually sitting infront of the car/truck you ended up with in the last picture. Maybe I'm just seeing things, like ghosts maybe. Mike

That is another T fordor body that we bought at the same time. You can see the body in the background in the 2nd picture. However the chassis is the same one that was under the truck.
