Best Dixie Fried ever....
Broke my shit on the way there.....more stuff got broken during the show and i managed to break more when in got home...... But i'm still smiling!!!!

HUGH thanks to the Road Kings for all the effort put into this, not to mention letting my 'trailer queen' into the show after i was told to park it down the hill. Already planning for 09' And maybe i'll get to drive a car in!!! haha.....

Gotta thank all my buddys also for the help on my heap.

 

Mostly for the Sock Fers.... Guess what I got a call to do a few hours after I got home!? Get to go to work! Well at least I got one day. Next year I'll have the truck and I'll call in sick!

 

It was great seeing you two again.....we were talking about you on the drive down wondering where you have been

I have to thank the Sock Fuckers again for their hospitality. You guys saved my wife and I by letting us get out of that shade, filling our bellies with Mexican Food and singing happy birthday to our new friends Ron & Heather. Thanks and I look forward to seeing you guys once again.

 

I wanted to say my own THANKS to the Road Kings for all you do.
Dixie Fried has become more than just a carshow to most who have attended more than once. It is an awesome 2-day party with lots of gearheads, cool cars and trucks, music, drive-in movies, and "people-watching".
For the S.F.C.C. it has become a reunion, and this year we "officially" broke-in 4 new members: CosmoMerc, Dogpatch, LAYDRAG, and Vegaracechick24's "silent partner" Grumpy Ed.
We also owe a BIG thanks to Mrs. Dogpatch for keeping us fed and organized, also Dirty Old Man for the killer breakfast Sunday (You looked mighty cute in that apron Sir ), and Stealthcruiser for the entertainment, jerky, "refreshments", and cool travel accesories.

Great pics, thanks again - glad to see my old '46 Ford pickup (the one on the ground - third pic in post # 66) remains virtually the same as it was when I traded it away 3 years ago.

Yeah Brett, I figured somebody would have snapped a pic of that apron Mrs Dogpatch hung on me! As for breakfast, wish I had remembered the potatoes and onions before I cooked the eggs! We had the sterno cans lit under the pans and that would have kept the bacon warm while The potatoes and onions were cooked.
But I would have had to have somebody to slice them up while I was cooking the bacon, and that would have required a rope to lasso one of you non-hardcore candy-asses shuffling off to the shower! WTH, I've been out lot's longer than we were before finding a place to bathe and nobody passed out!
The fajitas prepared by Mrs. Dogpatch were great and all in all, it was a great time, even if that damn Polack did make enough noise to wake the dead most all night!
Seriously though, the Sock Fuckers hospitality to me at Dixie Fried and at Reynolds is greatly appreciated on this end.
