I have a lot of old photos that I would like to post and share. Can someone please tell me how to get them posted in a larger size like all the ones above on this page? Thanks

  5. What I do is save my photos to Photobucket.com . You can download like 6 photos from your files at a time. There are 4 boxes under each photo after they have been down loaded. use the botton box with in the code. Highlight it by right clicking and using another window for HAMB paste it into your post. It is much easier then it sounds.
It is a free account and I have about 400 photos in mine. You can also store videos there.
    Good luck.

  9. I have many, many more from our local race track website but they are protected and I can only save them in my folder on the site.
Many photos of Charlie J, Evans, Jerry Cook, Allison, DeAngelo, and many old timers.
Retroridesbyrich would be the one with many old coupe and coaches. I know he checks out the site because he knew it was me on my first post.
He's very knowledgable about the mods that ran in the mid 60s-80s. I would hope to think he still has those photos. Then again, his building rods might keep him from haing time to scan photos. :)

    Sorry about getting O/T guys.

  10. How did a pic of my "?" get on here?

    I haven't run any races this year :( .

Here's my favorite driver growing up. Lee Osborne! I got a chance to meet and talk with him after 35 or more years. He was nice enough to autograph my coat

  24. It's great seeing a pic of my "?" car here. The story goes it was an original old modified from the late 60's - early 70's from Virginia. I have no history to confirm this.

Glad ya' like the looks of it. I put the hood sides on it. I think that helped with the look some. The primer on the roof is from where I straightened it out. I had a rollover wreck. I never had a chance to repaint it.

Hey Emil, yes I do check Peter's stuff out, he's a chip off the old block for sure! (But only the good part of the block!) Thanks for the compliments. While I fortunate enough to grow up in the "Golden Age of Modfied Racing" and saw all the greats, I didn't start shooting racing until 1980 (I was also the track photographer at Islip until the end) and after my stint at CT magazine and briefly SCR, I gave it up professionally for other pusuits. I do have a crap load of negatives and tranparencies though it's 80's stuff.

Is there a service to transfer negs to digital in bulk ? I don't have the time to print or the dark room any more.

Be cool, Emil...Long live Golden Chariots Magazine! You lived a dream even if the price was equal to having your balls hammered flat with a mallet!

  27. OUCH, don't remind me. That hurt.

Pete wants to know if the negs are sheeted or strips or singles?
