Well, the little hangout has grown ten fold in just a couple weeks. The count on thid Friday evening was over 100 cars. Two weeks ago it was about 25. Here's some pics I took. This 1963 Diamler was packing a 426 Hemi! Wonder if this is where Shelby got his idea from? Econlines are always cool! This little coupe is awesome. Tons of detail. She's running a blown flatty. Here's a tight looking custom.
I'm not a big Karman Ghia fan, but I like this one. The panels air brushed to look like wood! This is a HAMBer car. Any guesses on the grill make? This little hangout is growing really fast. Future plans call for moving it to a better lite parking lot, so people can stay longer.
Fred, maybe you should go into the car show business. And where is the pic of "miss behavin" in that sea of cars?
Nice pics, looks like you little hang out is catching on! btw, that Karmin Ghia happens to be a Squareback, just for future referance Larry
Man I drove down to the Homedepot at 518 right off of 288 around 7pm and there was no one there. Did I go to the wrong one? I guess we will see you tomorrow at the tavern instead
Looks like a cool show with great cars everywhere. But what the heck is going on with the axle offset here??
Nice coverage Fred---especially liked seeing the ultra-rare V8 Daimler sports car. Richard W. sent me pics of it as well. He happened on a Daimler engine a few years ago but it was totally shot. Too bad. One of those small V8s would make a great bucket motor. Speaking of which sorry to hear about your rude encounter on Stella Link.
Looks like a nice get together.Too bad there isn't a place somewhere here in the city kind of centrally located. That way all the rides from the spring, pearland, deerpark, highway 6 area etc.Could meet in one spot, man that would be one huge cruise spot. There are a lot of cool rides in our city.
