scott you are correct...One is going in the tattoo shop... and yes they are real...Mark said he got one with every set of Ardun Heads he ordered when his shop ( Motor City Flatheads) was in business..They were the top of the box....He said he built about 20 or so engines with the Ardun overhead valve conversion...and he save a bunch ......... and yes I just sit around days thinking of ways to copy a sign or crate I did not even know there was...

so they are genuine Ardun boxes that housed the recent repo heads then?

I don't understand the fascination. If it were off original early Ardun crate
    I could see the excitement.

A little Rockwell, a little Jott 44... (The computer fonts used).

These are cool, but not real.

If these were really produced back in the day, then the lettering dude (or dudette) would have at least had the decency to fully connect the letters in the script.

That is pretty cool, but I agree that is not THAT big a deal. At best they are 20 years old.

Now if they were 50 years old, that is ENTIRELY different.

Hey all....At work today Mark Kirby told they are from when Don Orosco bought all the toolin and core boxes..He offered a limited production run of the heads.....50 or so sets....These are the box tops that the heads came in...so it is from the late 80' early 90's I believe...I never meant to miss lead anyone that they were super old..I just wanted to show the HAMB members that were interested...To the rest of the nay sayers....BLOW ME.....I have some you don't.:D

I was going to donate one for a hamb auction....But why? ...It will just get a bunch of idiots commenting on it and sayind it's fake........Fuck that...

Why? So that those of us who ARE interested might have a shot at one? They are a legit part of Ardun history even if they're not ancient relics!:) I'd be damned proud to be able to hang one in my garage! (To own a real Ardun equipped flathead would rock, too, but that's a whole 'nuther gig!)
