    Get outta my closet!!!!!

Seriously, I love my dear wife and what she thinks matters to me. She's already over it and is just shaking her head now telling me she's not going to drive it. She may not always like it but she understands my affliction :)

What's wrong with those? I'd wear them. Reminds me of the Brady Bunch...

Anyway, that wagon rules. Can;t have a better daily than that, especially with a hitch on the back. Now you're talkin. Nice score.

OK, this is where I turn this into a classifieds post.

First the bike. It's a 72 Honda CL450 with a skinnier spine to accept the Sporty tank and a hardtail, stretched about 8.5 inches. I had the cylinders honed and put in new pistons and rings. The starter doesn't work well so I've had to kick. I had it running once but not well. Not sure if I have carb issues or if I have the cam miss-timed. I'd like $1000 for her. I've been distracted by the digger and shoved her in the back.

Next the boat. She's a 1958 Redfish Shark with a 1959 Evinrude Lark 35 outboard. The balsa core in the hull was shot and so was the transom. I have a new transom completed and have stringers glassed in the bottom replacing the balsa core. No doubt abouit it, there is plenty of work left but she's cool. The engine has good compression but I haven't tried to start it. I've got lots of goodies I've collected from new shifter and throttle cables to coils, points and condensers to an airguide speedo and new airguide tack to two wiring harnesses. I have a new windsheild but it's for something else and is a bit wide. I was going to bend it to fit. The trailer is sort of scabbed together but it'll do the job. I'd like $1200 for her.

I'm going to be plenty busy in the next few days and may not respond very quickly but let me know if you are interested.

Nice looking boat and bike buddy.

Tell Travis to get his chevy done- he's clutterin' up the shop....

    :) ;)

  16. I withdraw my comment about the wagon. Now that I see the boat I am sure that the correct place for the Hemi would be in the boat. Holy shit that thing is cool. Could you imagine blasting across the water in that thing with a Hemi in it!!! Better yet give about 5 more hours and I'll just buzz over to Kerry's place and drive the damn thing back home >>>>. The Creek Is Rising!!!!!!

And with only a Stromberg WW!

I know a few people sellin' dual-quads for 'em if you're interested. :D

As for the boat, it would be badass with an old square Imperial steering wheel and dash-mounted rearview mirror, too! :)

Kerry, I think the next trip should be with that wagon, the wife, and the kids to go to maybe Dodge City, also see the worlds biggest ball of twine, and maybe go visit with cousin Eddie. Some white shoes with those pants would look killer lol. Serious, very nice wagon.

Kerry, nice collection of toys. The wagon is very cool, ( I'm kinda partial to longroofs ) reminds me of my 59 2 door sedan car. Good luck on the sale of the bike and boat. Gary

nice one... but that big-finned boat needs hauled by that big-finned wagon. Add on to the garage.

An update. The wagon had been missrepresented and is nothing nearly as nice as I was told. The guy wasn't necessarily telling lies, he was just VERY clueless. It's got rust, its missing a some trim and has a cracked windshield. Instead of being an amazing deal it's more like an OK deal. I drug her home yesterday. My dear wife might just be right about me being crazy. On the other hand every time I look at her I know it'll be worth it. I do have my work cut out for me.

Thanks for the offer Sololobo, but I need to be spending my $$$ on more basic things. The seller had bought new tires for her anyway. I put a wishlist below if you know where I can get mopar parts.

Hey Gary, where do you live? I need some parts. ;-) Just kidding.

I would appreaciate help on where to buy things like weatherstripping, a windshield, a 4 brl intake, a decent steering wheel, etc.

Both times that i bought an old car without "permision", I was sorry later. I still think she used some sort of negative energy to jinx those cars!
Here's hoping that your deall turns out a lot better.

I'm in Nebraska, but won't do you much good. The Plymouth is now in California. I got all my weatherstripping at Clesters www.clestersauto.com 1-800-457-8223 Theres a couple big Mopar fans here in town I'll ask around for an intake for ya. Thats a poly motor, right ? Gary

  29. I remember back in early 70s my buddy bought the same style boat & we cut the fins off & glassed them in & pot a 50 hp sea king on it

    Yep Gary, it's a 318 poly.

Got a fuel blockage in the tank resolved, siphoned about 5 gallons of 12 year old gas out, put some new gas in and she fires right up and idles nice. Goes in gear fine and power steering works great. All the lights work except for the right turn signal. I still have it tied on the trailer so I can take it in for the VIN inspection. The brakes are the next issue and then I can put tags on and drive her :)
