Event Coverage UK Hot Rod Drags pics

A few pics I took at the 20th annual hot rod drags here in the UK.

Some cool rides there, thanks for sharing. BTW. who photoshopped the rain out of photos ... I mean sept.+ U.K = rain.

 

I know! It has rained pretty much non stop over here for a few weeks but luckily the hot rod gods took pity on us and provided decent weather for this weekend.

 

Very cool cars man!!

 

Andy Frost just ran a 7.5 @ 192mph in his street driven '72 Vauxhall Victor at this event. Car runs treaded tyres and a full exhaust system.

Google Red Victor 2 if you want to see more of it. Doesn't really fit in on this forum.

 

i believe it`s even taxed and tested for street use.....that guy is a legend.

 

I love the use of the Thames grill shell on the Pickup, but a bit of an odd use of a 3 window roof on the roadster! It looks like hot rodding is alive and very well thank you in the UK. Cheers

i think that is a thames(fordson) pickup looking at the cowl sides,,,

Load your photos up to Imageshack. They should be okay there.

Believe me, it rained on Friday. I got soaked through driving there in the touring.
