I messed up and sold my 29 sedan and ending up buying a 57 chevy i had to sell the my 53 chevy wagon to buy my 48 woodie, hated to do it but wanted the woodie so bad. wish I still had the wagon (and the woodie)..
How about the other way around. I sold a 40 Plymouth when we were house shopping. Probably was a smart move, I got a better house!
I sold a pretty decent 1940 Ford business coupe ... with a 283 done with a Wilcap engine/transmission adapter Added a pile more ca$h to it and bought this coupe ... with no engine or transmission. Been sitting in a shed since 1958
sold one of my bikes 51 pan to get my coupe . had it 15 or so years got it in high school. built the motor 3 times i was on it so much.
Sold the Rocky 33 to build (not buy) my Touring. Sold the Touring to fund the new house stuff and got a wish list car, a 28 tudor with it in the deal! My 54 Chevy is for sale to pay off the pricey ass carpet we got for the new house. Hope the procedes build a deck and buy a welder for us!
I dig your 58 man, but that Bassman is a gem. I've never been a fan of Rics, but I'd rather starve than sell my Gretsch
Yep, If it was a Gretsch, I would be still carless. I'm starting to think I sold the Bassman for too little. UnIOnViLLEHauNT and your comments worry me.
I sold the circle tracker that I lovingly built over a two year period to finance the BUILDING of a hot rod chassis so I could end up with the sedan. Haven't regretted the decision one second.
i sold my 62 chevy camper, a 60 impala, a 409 and a 61 belair bubbletop to buy my 55 chebby convertible
