Keep us posted. Looks like a likely project for a chop.

Wow... wasn't really a fan of those cars until I saw yours. Good job on the chop. It was just the right amount and really flows well. Should've come that way from the factory IMHO.

I had to build new front spring perches the first pic shows the pass side one from inside the car as I have no floors yet, you can just see the leaf spring on the right side of the pic its black[IMG] the second pic is from under the car same side looking from the rear forward[IMG] third pic is looking back at the shackle I cut out the old bearing that was in the frame and replaced it with a rubber bushing and made new shackles[IMG] fourth pic is my frame x member and floor pan grid [IMG] let me know if you need any pics or have questions or comments.

Nice cars! I'm picking up a '38 Pontiac body this weekend. It's rough, and disassembled, and has no frame, but the price is right. Can one of you guys measure the length from center to center of the wheels? I'm on the lookout for a cheap frame roughly the right length. Thanks!

  13. I don't like it at all.

Ok so that was an out 'n' out lie. But I've been wanting to say that to someone and I know you're pretty tuff.

Looks smooth as silk or on its way to silk from where I sit my friend. Something about an old bustle trunk sedan that just makes it for me.

You're going to leave the slots on it? Wilbur says he really likes slots, and on that one I have to agree with Wilbur 100%.

Hammer away you got a winner on your hands.
