Event Coverage Ontario HAMBers, Waterdown?

Good to hear you'll be there Jeff. We'll be leaving the model A Sedan at home so there will be room for your truck if the weather turns. We will bring the flat head in the engine stand though, it makes it easier to find us I think. Lots of noise and some smoke!!! LOL anyhow, we've been getting ready all week for this one, a little low on stock ourselves, from the Barrie weekend, but we'll have some stock with us. Hope everyone can make it out, looks like it's going to be a good get together. Thanks again to Flatman and 27kid for the invite and the great idea of a meet and greet!!!

 

So just to clarify, what are the names or banners that will be on the booths that we're looking for on Saturday? I only know Scott (Flatman) personally, I wouldn't recognize anyone else.

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm guessing pistinbroke has a booth on Saturday?

 

Our booth has no banners on it to speal of. That being said, we bring an engine stand with us that has a 28 modeal a cowl with a 32 grill shell all red, with a running 8ba flat head. It stands up high so everyone can see it well. In the spring I was right in front of the car show, I'll try to get the same spot. Our tent is a 10 x 20 portable with a white top and green sides. There will be a Reble wire banner inside as well as a So-Cal sign. I'll see if I can link some spring pics for you folks, so you know who to look for. Anyone got an idea on a time for this party to start?? Here are a couple of pic's of our booth at Spring Waterdown. Maybe make it a bit easier to find us.

 

I think that engine stand is pretty easy to spot.
I'm sure you fellas will wonder around earlier in the day and find it

I should be there both days. Saturday with my family. Sunday with some real shity cars.

 

A few Buffalo guys are heading up Saturday, what's the consensus with the American money, exchange it or just use it ?

I'm thinking of bringing the bucket but my 55 mph top speed might not be good for the QE. That car would prevent me from buying to much stuff though, now if I brought my truck....look-out !

 

I'm hoping to, I'm working Sunday, are you going to bring that DVD I asked you about?

I,ve never been to a swapmeet that far south....One of these days I,ll make a point to be there possibly as a vendor! Was that setup at Burls Creek? The flattie set up? My wife pointed out a moon tank to me cause she knows I want one....it was on an engine display.

 

Ya, we had it at Burls creek. A bit of a wet weekend wasn't it?? I'll shoot you a p.m on the "moon" tank.

Looks like I won't be there Saturday, which sucks. I was looking forward to meeting everyone on both days. Now, as for the Sunday crowd. Where do you want to meet and what time? Say 2:00 p.m.?
