Alright, for those that know me should know that I have been wanting two main cars in life..dream cars if you will. One is a model A roadster. I bought on this past summer. It is a project, but thats all I can ever really afford. The second is a 33/34 Ford coupe. I am now the pround new owner of this 33 5W. I actually bought this on Ebay. It is a project for sure, but it was really cheap compared to similar ones I see sell on there. It's an old stock car. "7/11" was the number, note the dice on the side. The roof is pretty beat up on each side, but that is really the worst of the damage. The decklid skin is dented up, but the inner structure is really decent. The floor is great shape, the inner trunk area is super except a section of the floot that is cut out. The firewall is wasted. There is a piece of metal tached over the top, but the orriginal channle for the insert is still there and in great shape. All in all a good project, and I couldn't be happier. If anyone has any parts, you can pretty much see what I need.
Yeah your a lucky sum'*****! Someday I hope to get my hands on a 33-34! I thought the same thing as Ryan when I saw the dice? Hmmmmm?
ya check the jalopy thread that Tetenus shot started......i remember that car now...ryan sparked my mind..
Very cool buy, anything can be fixed if you really want to put in the work. I think since it's one of your dream cars you'll get the job done, good luck with the build. CRUISER
Chris,I think you must own ALL the older Fords in the North West of the States!!!!Nice looking Coupe,I think that 5 windows are the nicest '33/'34 you can get.Congratulations! Nick.
I think I would have research this one a little before I went too far with it. I agree with Ryan, there is some history here.
Ahhh, you bought that one. Cool, congrats! I have a nice firewall and cowl surround i may sell. Good luck bud!
Looks good. We will have to trade some parts and help each other get our old stock cars back on the road.
Cool Score! Model A Coupe Model A Roadster '33 Ford Coupe Yup sounds like you have it made my friend. Keep us posted on the history of it.
This is my favorite picture! Chris, Congrats on the new purchase, and if your not careful you're going to make everyone think that we all have a pile of early ford parts and a couple of early ford cars stashed in our backyards up here.
Patina is great on a great body.... A '33 coupe deserves to be made solid again if it isn't though. JH
That's cool. Great find. I was hoping that meant that I could pick up your roadster project, but I guess not. lol
Mine too...... Beer in hand, Dad's in deep thought.....planning the ATTACK.... Now Chris...if you sell ALL of your other JUNK, you'll be able to CONCENTRATE on your two dream cars.... But that's not gonna happen, is it????
