  2. The bombs are cool...attention to detail is amazing and the money they spend on chrome and accessories is staggering

There is virtually no accessory laden bomb style car culture in Australia, and I think we're the poorer for it - I LOVE these cars! Especially the fact that these guys don't shy away from four door cars the way the other proponants of the rod and kustom scene do.

Every classic more door should be turned into one of these beautiful bombs!
    Great thread!

i once heard that the only real difference between a low rider and a kustom was the area code.

From my understanding, there was alot of old iron saved during the 70's just because of the lowrider craze in so-cal. Cars people really didn't want were being transformed into Lowriders by the mexican community....

Juan, that loco 46 is really cool. It has alot more custom feel than Bomb feel to it. Do you know if there were many rides with that custom style in the old days?

Here are some shots I took a few years ago at a San Jose show.

One of the many things that makes Mike Tovars car so cool is that he lays it on spokes bigger than 13's...

Ralph's LaSelle from Oxnard, Ca (from the Smokin Shutdown #3 - Bomba book)
