That Ranger motor is cool Josh. I have one too, and we're putting it in a roadster one of these days. Probably after the Bonneville car is done. You and Kevin should compare notes to see if you both arrived at the same conclusions regarding mating a trans.

They're not really that rare, if you know where to find them. I picked up ours at Oshkosh last year.

How about good cam cores for Stude motors. And a 4-71 blower intake for a Stude. You see what I'm getting at here.

  3. aparently, a chrysler centura diff. Especially if u want it for an early falcon!

  4. I'm partial to those wacky Meteor fuel injectors... I originally planned to run a 6x Meteor 100 setup on my coupe, but the cfm was too much so we cut it down to three. Gordy Cushman set mine up and they run like butter.

The three leftovers will probably go in my next car. The 100s are pretty rare (I don't think more that 100 or so were ever made), but they aren't nearly as rare as the Meteor 200. Django snapped one up at the Garage Days swap in Chicago a few weeks back, and it's the only 200 I've ever seen. I doubt more than 10 were ever made.

10 ever made? No shit?? OMG!

And to think we are going to waste it on an EVO sporty! :D Hahaha! The first thing Kevin said was "your bike will rule now!" Hahhaha! :D

I'll try to get a pic of it and the Ranger tonight when I'm out there.

I love those! Every time you post 'em, I get wood...

And your sig is actually the inscription inside my wedding band! People ask when it means all the time, and I make something different up for each person! LOL!

I agree... I posted that back when we first got it. Now that I have done my home work, I realize there still out there. Hell, one went on Err-bay last week for around $750. I'd like to have one when I get some money ahead. I want one in a roadster. They are neat engines. there's a couple Airplane guys around here with a few.

Who is "Kevin" I would like to talk to him about the tranny mating..

Have him PM me or E-mail me at fast.32@hotmail.com

I have my Fly wheel mounted, I built a bell housing out of an old top loader housing (picture below)and we are running a modified model A gear box. Its been made into a Two speed.

I would love to use these once again, but this time it would have to be on an Edmunds 2x2 Intake. I think it would be crazy

What about the 5 speed trannys that use to be behind Hemis in Cunningham cars during the mid 50's?

Oh and has '32 Steel bodies been discussed?
