    Congratulations Megan !

This might sound weird,..... but this little roadster suits you !,... it looks like it should of been yours from the start,..... or, as was posted before, it looks like it's been waiting for you. some times you look at a car and a owner and it's evident they belong to one another,..... this is one of those times....

It's your car,.. but I think the fenders look great,... I like the dropped axle in the stock location and raked back windshield ideas,..... but I am a chopped top guy, so I would get me another windshield and upper stantions and whack that puppy ! ( you could always put the stock windshield back on in a few minutes,.....IMHO) And BTW A friend of mine told me a few days ago that he was going to sell a "B" 4 banger he has had on a engine stand for years,.... sence it came back from the rebuilder !:D If you want me to follow up on it for you, just say the word ! :)

Maybe that is where I am going wrong, I should be sending the redhead out to look for cars!

Congrats Megan.... and as others have said.............
    I HATE YOU!!!:D

  3. Oh yeah...those horns are 38 Ford Deluxe by the way...:D If you keep the fenders, picture my car, but a roadster!

    Oh, No!! "FORDGIRLROX" Nice find!:)

  12. Nice! I'd leave the fenders on, give it a hot rod rake with the rubber, a dropped axle in the front, and do an AV8 conversion. done.

Wow, that is sooo cool. Makes me wish that we could go back and get that A-V8 roadster we checked out this summer, also in a barn.

I'll second that advice! Did the exact same thing with Dad's Roadster years ago.

Beautiful car. I guess they are still out there. You have a late 31 standard roadster. Please keep the fenders on it. I have been going back & forth on that issue with mine. Finally decided to keep them on. I think Chris has a drop front axle in the front & a T rear spring on his to get that killer stance. I am doing the same thing but will have a 53 Merc in mine with a 39 top loader & 40 banjo.

The deluxe Roadsters had about a 3" lower roof line so you are going to want to replace those original standard stanchions with the deluxe ones including windshield.

Where is the master cylinder??? Does it have stock pedals??? You really need to post more pics as you have a piece of history there.

    Good Luck with it.
