Found a V-8 60. What year is it??

    I found this in the woods while walking the dogs with my Girlfriend.
    V-8 60 Ford Flathead.What year is it and what,if any value does it have? Thanks,Kevin.

  2. early blocks had the sheetmetal sides
    so if it has sheetmetal sides its a 37 or 38
    price is subject to condition
    but i have to say not much... 200 or less

    thats like the rocker arm i dug up yesterday. while digging in my backyard i came across 1 lonely rocker arm 3' underground. i figure it has no value but it seemed interesting to find it there and im currently trying to figure out what its from

    Midget guys like the iron block. Try WRA or other vintage race car sites.Looks like a 40 notice the 92 carb base.

    It looks like a 40'........dig around where the motor is at for the 81' Carb......

    Price? I would say $200ish......it does have the tranny with it and they are hard to find.

    I drug this home yesterday.....with two trannys and it was a complete runner. I also picked up some leftover parts.

    Man...I dont need any more 39 Merc fenders:cool:. Ill sell it to you for a small fee.:D

    Capillary sticking out of head suggests that it was in a '37-9, adaptor under the capillary says head was made for a '40...
    Show front. '40 had crank snout for crank type fan...
