i talked to bill about that today, he's thinking along the lines of exhibition car. he agreed that he needs to be more aggressive, especially during the burnout, but those are vintage 16 inch m-h slicks and he didn't wanna be too rough on 'em.

those of you that enjoy the car and watching it run are very much appreciated, it makes it all worthwhile. :D

the girls that got all bitchy about it's test run and it's unfortunate damage will be glad to know that your hurtful comments made bill almost cry...then he realised he didn't care and got back to having fun!:p

(i'm glad to see some of the guys whose opinions i value chiming in
here. bill's not much of a computer guy, so he may not know exactly who the legends (conder) and old timers (chili) are that have taken a minute to add a comment, but i'll pass on the support)

I haven't seen any pics or video of the King Chassis rail from Mokan.

I think there needs to be a Creative Customs Gym so that Foxy can lose some pounds and be able to drive around his beer belly. I would stop by more often if everyone was oiled up and working out all the time. Just like the YMCA!

Darnit, I missed the other Suicide King thread.

Don't ever try to get rid of the wheelie! :eek:You'll never find a crowd of people gathered by the scoreboard to see what number comes up. As long as it leaves like that they'll be on the starting line being entertained.

I've looked a several HAMB drags picture threads. In my opinion that car was the coolest thing there!! It's freakishly radical. I love it.

It will be fun tuning it. How about some driveline specs...

The most exiting thing about the whole gig to me is the opportunity to dial in that Stude, tune it and DRIVE it as is. I.E. instead of refining all the "wheelies" out of it and making it run and look like nearly every other "nostalgia" racer out there, use Mokan as a starting point and start the learning curve.

Maybe try the 12.00x16 M&H NTF spec tire (they're replaceable) and just run the !@#$ out of it until you get your hair raising burnout and moon shot passes down. Be a real drag racer and try for a faster (safer) pass each time.

Shakey and you could compare notes and get that thing sorted quick. Imagine those two making a pass...wheels up screaming metalflake disco NIRVANA!

I wish I could afford mine. I wish I was there. I wish I was you!

He obviously has the experience to make that Stude WORK. Imagine a whole field of cars like that! Twistin' frames and bangin' gears...no neon splashes tearing away to checkers or billboard vinyl...or giant inflatable soda cans......................................or square dragsters with the motors ten feet out and the front wheels 2 feet apart.................................................................................................or guys sitting at keyboards instead of working on their race cars..........................................................................ooops, that last one got me.

BILL BIERMAN is my hero. The stude is one bad hombre and so is Wild Bill. That car will run a number. The motor ran 10.20s carbed on gasoline in a 3400lb car. Now injected on alchol, in a car alot lighter than 3400lbs.
If ever in St.Louis deffinality go to his shop on a Thurs nite. It is a circus. His regular bull shit is even more fun that watching him race his cars. This is the same guy that built and owns the love / hate Pink Freak Show and built the Bug Eyed Sprite Austin Healy for his dad. Anyone want something like this built call him at Creative Customs St. Louis Mo 314 867 1395.

Yeah he is a show man. That Henery J will run low 8s. But half of the time he sets up the suspension to do stuff like that video. Because he knows people love to see stuff like that.

Coolest thing I've seen in forever... Bring it to Thompson in a couple weeks:cool:.

My buddy and I were talking about all the bracket gassers at the last meet. The thought that came to mind was if there was a beam set two foot off the line two foot high so as the front tires had to clear it for an official run it would be more interesting. If you're not hanging the front end that high at that point you're out...

I wonder what the people in the mini van were thinking.
Funny at first, but I am not a teenager anymore.

Even if you didn't have any oncoming traffic, or buildings with people in them, you could have caused an accident by other people like the family in the mini van. They might have slammed on the brakes and been hit from behind.

It is one thing to do something juvenile and dangerous that puts unwilling participants in danger, but it is worse to brag about it.

You should be put in jail and have your license taken away,

A STREET FULL OF PEOPLE AND CARS WITH FAMILIES IN THEM is not the place for this much fun. You should be embarrassed and should be hanging your head in shame.

There are plenty of places to pull wheelies without a bunch of cars around.

Maybe you are only 17 or something, but time to grow up and realize your life is not worth more than others; especially more than a bunch of kids in a car or someone's mom.

    Another internet tough guy.........
What are you , like 15 years old?
Are you really going to justify pulling wheelies on a crowded street?

I am speaking up for the mother with kids in the mini van behind the juvenile pulling the wheelie.

Also, if you are going to do something like that, and you can't maintain enough not to have the front end fall apart, you really shouldn't brag about it, or post it.

Don't put up movies with low IQ people endangering unwilling participants and you won't hear from me.

Who am I to preach? Just a halfway decent human being.
Who/ what are you? Of yeah, an internet rebel.

Plus that was a pretty lame wheelie anyways.

Looks like someone in LA needs a nap.
Lessee we had one in Rhode Island in the deleted post, now THIS asshat.
I hope its not something going around.

    Back to topic....
I had the pleasure of dropping in on several Thursday nights to watch Bill build this car. AND to fix it after the wreck.
Bill is one CLASS act. He runs a great shop that does fine work. HE is a CRAFTSMAN as well with vision and real ability.

Call me a pussy too but I'm in the camp that believes that kind of testing should be done somewhere other then a regualr street with regular cars cruzn around. Heaven help ya if someone would have been standing there in that spot watching and got hurt.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bill alot, we're friends. Doesn't mean I have to agree with all his actions.

maybe a parking lot would have been a better first try..
but watch the vid.. looks like he gives it about 1/2 throttle and it stands up, now it is rolling, and he baps the throttle again and it stands up again.
that thing has a ton of power to weight, and the extra long ladder bars and short wheelbase really put the nose up.

the way it looked to me was that he was suprised that it wheeled up, and then goosed it again just to see? probably what any of us would do with a powerful car.

the only thing different from some of the stuff I see that is a claimed "daily driver" is no license plate.

....and that mini van? I have heard about that neighborhood, 10:1 that it was a crack dealer and a couple bangers in that van.
not all minivans carry soccer moms!
