    Hey PhatCaddy,
Wasn't talking about your car. I like what you've done and I respect that you're on a budget. There was a big name guy with big $$$ who sold his car to a "big" star who claims to have built it and the windows don't work. I was just saying that when people get all the hoopla about how well done their stuff is it should be well done. Again I wasnt blasting you man, sorry if it came off that way.

Here is my 1960 Cadillac Virgin, about 70% of the paint is original and she's all original inside as well.

My 50 Caddy. Since this picture the body has been off the frame, the frame scrubbed and POR'd, brakes rebuilt in back, disk kit in front, complete floor pan replace, inner rear fenders patched, and body remounted. After all that, it still looks a lot like this picture.

Also having the motor rebuilt and painted. Should be running within the next couple weeks.

Here is a picture of my 53 Coupe DeVille that I'm working on. It has a 79 Camaro sub-frame with a 500 engine and shockwaves.

62 is mine and I have posted pics before, but I figure why not?

Here is my 1950 61 series coupe (chop top). I've posted here before, but just took some more recent pictures. Been debating about selling the car, but of all people, my wife is trying to talk me out of it.

:D I'll cast my vote with your wife, that's a cool looking Caddy. I do understand the urge to sell and get something else. I had a fantastic '41 Ford Convertible, I just wanted something bigger and roomer. Is your Caddy a real convertible? Good luck with deciding what do with the Caddy.

It's now 4 votes to keep the caddy (wife, dad, cruiser, and neighbors telling me to keep it). I've only had a momentary lapse of judgenment because I saw a different project come up for sale (roadster). It sure is nice though to fit the wife and two kids in the car, I was just thinking of reducing space in the garage by getting a roadster.

Cruiser, to answer your question, the car was originally a hard top that the previous owner removed and trimmed the windshield by 3 or 4". He did a pretty good job cause most people think it's a true convertible. Although, if it were a true convertible I/he would of never did anything to detract from it's orignal condition. I've seen true convertibles go for over $100k.

I love this one. Previously owned by Gene Autry. Now in the hands of Pebble Beach Concourse Judge, Glen Mounger. Whew. What a beauty.

:D Your Caddy would look fantastic with a Carson top, you'll be able to keep your ladies happy and dry when it pours. Well, I guess the yes votes win this round. Good luck with the ride.
