Don't let the haters keep ya down, just keep cutting stuff up, much repect for getting the kids out of the hood and into the shop...we don't have much hood around here except for rednecks, but I am always setting up tours with locl high school metal and welding classes to come through.

you know, i was born and raised here in south los angeles,,,i was about 12 yrs old when i joined one of L,A, biggest and most feared gangs, in and out of trouble true my teenage life, shot, stabbed, had my first homie die in my hands after we both got shot at the age of 13.
i held him in my arms as bullets still went true his body...i know what it is like to live in the hood..no one gave me a chance.. i learn what i know true trail and error.. and yes it was my choice, no one put a gun to me and said i had to join a gang... at 12 yrs old with no father figure around and living in a gang infested hood, every kid in the neighborhood has joined the gang,
so now if can give a kid the chance that i never got, get them off the streets even if its only for a few hours...maybe that hour he spends here at the shop sweeping..might be the hour that kept him from getting shot,

Uhhh, I have seen pics of some of Lordz finished customs.

#1, they often have shiny paint. That takes a LOT more time and effort to pull off than flat paint, and plus, contrary to what many seem to think, more true to the traditional roots of custom cars. That deserves respect.

#2, I dont care how much bondo a car does or doesnt have. A custom car is about taking a stocker, making it look longer, smoother, sexier, and making a statement. I'd take a great looking custom that has tons of bondo any day over a perfectly metal finished, out of proportion car that shows no eye for lines or creativity. All of you bondo haters need to post pics of your shiny painted cars that you cut up into 100 pieces and put back together, I dont expect to see too many examples!

show me a car with no bondo, I will show you a car thats not straight....or it has 5000 hours in metalwork....bondo is your friend....be nice to it and it will be nice to you...use it how its not supposed to be used and it will bite you in the ass every time....

 

Makes me laugh, a year or so ago there was a thread about these two dynamite custom cars, who did em? Lordz. People were jumping up and down about how insane they were, and they were. NICE cars. Now you get 1 or 2 high post counters here who talk shit, and all the sudden its a different story. Friggin sheep. If someone has 10k posts, they MUST know what they are talking (or typing) about.

 

Oh by the way, I always dug that 49 you are working on, seemed like it was built nice, but the chop was a tragedy. Looks like a chopped Merc now, nice goin! Way better.
