    Ok guys,

I've been lurking around here for about a year now. Trying to get things in order so I can get my car out of storage. Built a shed out back just to store all of the crap in the garage. With the floods this year, it took longer than expected. That's another story within itself..

I have had this car since 2000. Since then my life has been in a little bit of turmoil (divorce, job, etc.). So basically the car has been in storage since 2001. I basically got the car torn apart and then the shit hit the fan in my life.

Here is what I'm starting with. I pieced it back together to make it presentable. Let me know what you think. They only made around 9600 Olds 2dr. sedans with the slant back. This car is really solid and I have all the stainless.

    Here are the immediate plans:

    1) Wide whites (15")
    2) Clean up the 350 Olds that I got dirt cheap (I'm on a seriously small budget). I know it's not all that traditional, but it's not a feul injected sbc!
    3) Get the body off the car and get the frame cleaned up.
    4) Get it chopped 4 inches.
    5) French some tailights.

I know there is a lot more to do than that, but it's a start. I plan on doing all the work except the chop. Let me know what you think... I will keep you updated on the progress.

looks like it will be rewarding and fun. Slap a 700-r4 tranny in it so you'll get a zillion mpg. and laugh at the high fuel prices.

Great!:) An Olds in an Olds. My folks had the same car all through the second world war through about 1950. My old man traded it for a load of black dirt! Good luck, brings back good memories to me.

Yeah, that's what I was going for. All Olds if I can. We shall see how that little theory works out! :)
