we had a great thread with movie lines; whats your favorite scene, lines or no lines?
and to be first off the line so to speak...
out of the whole chase from Bullitt; the point where Frank pulls in BEHIND the bad guys who've been tailing him. you KNOW that from that point on its ON baby....

and a lesser known flick: Sorcerer, about a group of guys driving trucks loaded with nitro across some jungle. there's a river crossing scene in a thunderstorm where one of the drivers is guiding the other across a POS rope/board bridge... tense...

and Bert Munro laughing his *** off at the end of his Bonneville run even though he's trashed the bike and burned the **** out of his leg.

  2. Drive-in scene from Two Lane Blacktop; "make it three yards, mother****er, and you got yourself an automobile race", or somethin' like that.

Yea, it's been talked about before and this might not be my favorite, but I think it's worth watching.
Nuther favorite (kinda off topic) is the start of Easyrider with the close up of the bikes. Works best on the big screen of a movie theater.

The movie Sorcerer was a complete surprise the first time I saw it. Few people have heard of it but it was one of those "the right place, right time" deals.
I remember the music from that movie was outstanding, it was a very good match for that picture.

MAN!!! I SO remember that scene from "Socerer" with roy schieder...

HOLY **** that was intense! No one seems to have seen that flick though. That movie is really well done, incredible acting, the effects on that bridge are mind boggling for the day, I cant see how they did that ON PURPOSE.

As for favorite car movie stuff....hmmm...

The original "gone is 60 seconds" is up there, and the scene where christine is slammin homeboys car into the garage over and over again...

some good stuff from "the wraith"

but some of the jumps from the newer Dukes of hazzrd movie were up there too...and then there is the original "Italian job", and "Le mans"

    Hard to have a favorite...

    Cheers and beers

LeMans, watching McQueen drive. You could tell he was a racer the way he looked in the mirror. Very cool stuff.

in the movie The Car, where the car has a cop pinned at the edge of a cliff and the cop tries to get out of his car but the car closes the door on him and pushes him off the cliff. that probly made no sense but if you've seen the movie you know what im talking about.

    - the scene in Christine when she puts herself back together after getting trashed....the music is playing, it's almost ****** OR when she is rolling down the road at night, on fire, with the headlights on
-the scene in American Graffiti where the cop car goes tearing out only to have the rear end ripped out from under it
-the car chase from Blues Brothers.....how many cop cars did they use on that movie???
