Yep. Everyone knows the naked lady is for the mud flap. How long before they come out with the pole dancing silhouette in those things? Stupid.

Cool truck, though. I heart 327.

I finally got some work done. It has been 100+ degs.for months now and it makes it tough to get anything done after work.
Motor and trans installed, the front frame section has been cleaned up and now the cab is setting on the frame. Next will make some cab mounts and them work on the right hand drive set up.

I'm working on it slow and steady. I got the dash switched around and the windshield frame to work

Yes I am! I hope to pick up the steering column and a right rear dump exhaust manifold next week from a friend of mine so I can get the steering finished.

Few more pictures. cut 9" off the front of each frame rail and notched the right side for the steering box.

Love the look of the truck. But why right drive? and why the spider web gussets? I really think it will detract from the finished product.

I am doing the right hand drive to build something different and I want to learn how to do it. I seriously doubt that I'll use any of spider web or trucker gal brackets. The idea is a simple and clean hot rod truck that does not look like everyone else is build.

good to hear on the webs. If you want to stand out its all in the small stuff. Keep the design clean, and put extra attention into fit and finish. Oh, and have fun!
