hmmm,,,,i gotta agree with james d.,,the cove does look pretty good with some added length,,,,,,
i hadnt considered the back looking too short and fat with the bubbles,,ill take them off tomorrow and see if it makes much difference (they do look better in person),,maybe a cove at te back wheelwell would look ok....at this point,,its easy to do in masking tape, hahah,,,,

you guys are the best,,thanks for helping with the suggestions and awesome photoshop work,,,,

i do like this,,,,,i still have the pieces i cut off,,,,it would definitely solve some of my roofline flow problems,,,,,,if i cant figure out a way to make the taper work,,ill definitely consider doing that..ive been racking my brain so hard to male the tapering doorline work, i hadnt considered the obvious,......

  7. If you take a side on photo from lower down, I can re-jig my pic a bit and it should look a bit more sleek.

I just love how many ideas this thread throws up!

Here one I was working on without the skirts,it's a long way from
finshed, but gives you an idea what it would look like without
the skirts.reworked the rear 1/4s.But have no idea what the
    taillights would look like.-------------TwoChops

im not crazy about the light color on the quarter,,might look pretty cool if it was black,,,any chance of seeing like a '59 chevy rear wheel opening?

I dunno.... if the trim line curves to match the shape of the roof.... that could be a good thing.

    Killer build!!! Nutz-o;)

  14. One of you PhotoShopers should add a little flipped up fin, like on the Ford door molding.

What a dream car look, Jim. When it's done it needs to be displayed on a turntable, with dreamgirl models gesturing, provocatively over it. Very Jetson, if you will. Bravo.

Changing these three curves may help the "Flow" a little better since you have so many other swoopy curves. Just my humble opinion!

  24. That is great - You get a matching shape for the front and rear wheel arches and the coves. Winner!

    i love it too.
i think the front wheelwell would work ok as is,,because the shape of the cove helps compliment the rear wheelwell...

  26. With less hood and trunk visible, and other changes...

thanks for doing those cool renderings,,,
took some time to download for some reason,,but it was worth it,,,
maybe someone knows how to post them here so everyone can see without hitting the link,,,,,,,,,,,

  29. Personally I like the dip in the door. It adds some movement to that top line. If you are going with the two tone paint and the '59 wheel openings I think it complements them and make the profile flow. I really like the look of James D last photoshop the door line, side trim and rear wheel opening all work perfectly together.
