If you check out the new roddersjournal, there's a nice 32 coupe with a half hood w louvers and chrome caps.
Dont know if a cool set of hubcaps would scratch the rims but may be a good option for ya.

    Like others stated already,
the hood, or half-hood is a good option especially when leaving it outside or overnight at a show.
Also though it really makes the body more aerodynamic,
I guess its easier to feel on a weak flathead,
but the wind doesn't hit the firewall head on.
Also it keeps the inside alot warmer.

Any way to photoshop some louvers or those chevy doors on the side?

    I've been off here lately,
did you fix the heating problem?
And the pic looks like the grille is down too?

Ya I got that issue or JJ too.. I like caps as well but I like the smooth look...
I really like the fact you can park it at a hotel (witch I'm sure I will allot) and feeling a bit
    more secure,,

I have the car at a shop down the street from me the guy is a old Drag guy,,,
he did a compression check and I had 0 compression on the Cyl #1 so after pulling
the Rockers assembly off He found 2 bent push rods.. turns out the guy that put the rockers on mounted one side wrong and the left a 1/2 inch gap..bent the rocker shaft as
well... So thats probly one of the reasons it was running hot :D I did get it to stay around
180 on 7 cylenders... I get the parts on Tuesday and then will see what happens after...

What do you mean by "Grille is down"???

Haha, the reflection of wisconsin in those hubcaps, looks great with the rancho background.

It's kind of like having your chick dress up as the naughty milk delivery lady, when it's time for you to stick your pee pee in her pee pee.

You need a change of scenery once in a while, just to keep life exciting.

If your gonna have a hood and moon discs, she has to have racing numbers. Photoshop some numbers on it and then it will look right.

Oh, and your not allowed to run moon discs until you actually go to Bonneville at least once.. sorry.

To add to your Heavy Metal vibe, use those black studded belts as hold downs for the Hood (Man I wish I could Photo shop that look). But for real, the Chevy side vents would help distract the longer front. I have an idea and will draw what I'm thinking. But the leather straps would work, but it has a 40's early 50's feel (well to me, like MotorMouths roadster). Something vertical for the side panels will help distract the longer front, louvers on the side would be hard to make it work. The pipes make it a lil bit challenging. The 49-51 Merc caps (smooth, no emblems) will look good too! Just the top looks good too! Good Luck.

i feel like the hood makes the front end too long.. i mean we all know im in love with teh car, jerk off to it nightly, but the hood throws it off to me..

for a second version i think makes and slicks... hehehe, but im biased!

ACTUALLY ... now that i looked at it for longer, raise the rear up 4-5" and i think the moons and hood would work.. thats not that hard of a change, only 4 bolts.. that makes it a 1 hr or less change over when you get bored..

ps - i still like it OG myself haha

The disc look ok with the hood, but the hood looks too long. Leave it off, then you have to keep the chrome wheels for the motor. Hmm, where did we start?

Blue windows look good....the rest looks like crap...."dressing up" is fine, but that "dress" ain't cuttin' it honey.....go change...

The hood appears to "stretch" the nose.....reminds me of this guy.:D

What, you couldn't find a less blotchy photo of moon discs to use??? :D

I like it with the hood top. There would be no shame in that at all.

With the sides and moon dics, I think the stance the car has contradicts that racing look, to me at least. It looks better "show" than as a confused "racer".

    The blue glass will rule.

  19. i like version A and the ieda for the drag set up bu this dont do it for me. the moons kinda seam like a stop gap until you get real wheels (hich you already have). and as stated the hood hides that rad cad

Evel .......set the engine back an extra 10'' and call it done..........I love it the way it is...but it would be easy to give that car several different feels with minor add ons.....as your thinking......Have you driven up that mountain yet ?.......Littleman....give Lucky a hug for me...
