If you could clone a hot rod

    If you could clone a '40's or '50's hot rod which one would it be? What a link between generations. Pics if you've got 'em.

    None, although I might build one that honors the spirit of a certain car in the past. The same year and body style with similar modifications but enough differences so that one would know that it wasn't a direct clone.

    hmm.... cant remember the owner.. the blue with blue double bubble plexi top dual mcculough supercharged coupe .. thats the one i love that isnt a simple answer

    fred steels ventures cover t bucket.. i ****ing love that car, ill build one one day but the columbia rear will be hard to find

    Vinthers Red 34 3 window coupe
    Cal Tanaka's Black Flamed 34 3 window coupe
    Jakes Yellow 34 3 window coupe

    Yep, that's the one! Do it just like gene built it, with split bones, not the hairpins it has now. Art Chrisman would build the 392, and I'd run the snot out of it. :D

    Neat engine and headers!! Flathead Cad would be a great choice for any "period" car.

    I would prefer to clone a custom the following two:

    1. Sam Barris Mercury ( first to be chopped)

    2. Miss San Pedro (built right after the Hirohata Merc)
