That looks like the one that was on the trailer at the LARS.

I don't have any cars anymore- sold all in the last year. This one's getting sold to finance another project. Would love to keep it, but someone else is going to get to enjoy this time capsule.

Trailer was necessary because it HAS sat for over 30 years since last registered- and even though it runs *****IN'- 350 miles just weren't in the cards at this time.

No, how about chopped 8 inches, channeled 10 inches, 12 inch kick-ups on both ends, **** can the fenders, tear out the interior (I've got a pair of dirty blankets), 5 cans of black BBQ paint, 1 can of red for the wheels, a set of mis matched truck radial and then I think it's getting to something "contemporary". We'll have to see if the new customer want to be "in" ;)

  10. I've got an old plastic Atlanta Journal newspaper box I'll toss in for an air cleaner.
    Uuuuups, wrong coast.

Come on now, with a 50 year hibernation , how could It not be HAMB friendly.
Now tell the story or I won't continue with trying to fund that other deal.

That cars been movin'. Rex Klelland in Modesto was at the Reno Swap meet and met a guy from near Guerneville Ca. that built the car. Last liscenced in '63 wanted to sell it. Rex picked it up the next week and had to turn it. It went to someone in Oregon I think then apparently to you Jim. The car sounds great with the holy mufflers and looks great too. Hope it goes to another owner that doesn't have the need to change much, just drive it and enjoy it.

  21. I'd keep it as close to "Original" as I could. Just replace all the essentials. Now, how about that story Jim?

He can remain anonymous to protect the innocent. Saw another friend and customer get railed a couple weeks ago after he posted his plans for HIS '32. Like I said- discussing old cars & business, perhaps "NHF"-Not HAMB Friendly (remember the recent Orbitron thread?). Just focus on the fact that it's a cool old survivor that will find a home with someone to love and preserve it as it should be. We are just happy to have let it p*** through us and let us learn from its unaltered original state.
