Obviously, he went to a school that didn't force the kids to make stuff out of popsicle sticks and old egg cartons...

Mines kind of like Bow's. Suzuki parts for a 4 cylinder Plymouth.

Hogans makes some of the most amazing custom fabricated racing intakes on the planet. If you get frustrated, or want something to perform ridiculously well, give them a shot.

But yes, there's no reason you can't make your own. Just like anything else though: It's going to take work to make it perform.

Good luck, let us know how it goes!

    Hey FlatDog..

    (Not to hi-Jack the thread)

What are you controlling the injectors with?

That is a cool setup, a nice combination of new tech and old look

a little on the tech side.. if you're doing a plenum type intake try to keep the plenum volume about 1/2 your engine displacement

There is also more known about what happens inside the manifold now than they did then.
The log should extend past the last runner by about 1/2 of the runner ID in both directions (total length = outside of end runner length, + 1 full diameter).
Same for carb location on the top plate: the plenum should be longer than the carb distance by about 1/2 the car size in both directions.

sounds like Panic has the plan... I also find a full return radius on the runners inside the plenum is worth a good bit on the flow bench

Anyone see any reason why you could'nt build a dual quad intake that is modeled after this one but with a larger plenium ?

Here are a few I have done for my Ford 300 sixes:
That one needed eight hammerform dies as the runners were tapered AND curved.

That's ingenuity! Just used the center sections of three intakes?? I guess the intake pattern would dictate weather or not that's possible on other engines. Very cool!!

If I could somehow get a 2 x 4 intake for my 300 Buick made it would make my life so much better. I plan on making one for my 331 Chrysler though when it comes time.

I flunked V12 school... Don't mind me I only joined the Hot Rodding hobby a couple years ago when a Nailhead found me and begged me to find something cool to do with it. Figuratively speaking of course.

Found that out too when looking at Zepher parts. I've been packing around one aluminum V12 head for many years. Have not found another one much less any other affordable parts for the V12. My Dad got this head from my Grandpa years ago, he salvaged it from a put-put boat down in South Louisiana. Steven
