The Texas mile is at the top of the list I will also be going out to run the 1/4 and 1/8 mile .Thank God for quick change rear ends .The coupe body belonged to a close friend that was killed in Iraq .My 2 cents

It wins the thread if all those carbs are active. I'm still waiting on rolling footage of it.

Are you serious... This is the real deal all 8 are active with straight linkage the 671 makes about 8 pounds, good ol 4 speed tranny, open headers and when I have extra cash I drive it around 4mpg... I have driven it 200 miles round trip on a Sunday a couple of months ago. That picture was taken at Bass shop which is 120 miles round trip.

I'll get some footage banging gears one day.

    Thanks Guys

Yeah, I'm serious. I hadn't seen your car before. It rules. That was the stipulation with Helen too (that all 8 had to be active.)

Thanks- Look up ( Blower 8x2s on Dyno ) that was with only 4 pounds of boost. I'm also running a magneto.

My daily driver does low 11s @ 6lbs of boost. (three thousand mile round trip to the Drags) She MIGHT have a 10.99999 in her with 10lbs and a set of slicks.

Glen. Your sedan is one bad mutha. Drive that sucker to the HAMB Drags next year and you and I can duke it out for the "Fastest Car That Drove There" title.

Of course...you will have to deal with Kerry and ElPolako too...

    See ya, -Abone.

Here is the gasser I am building. Just got the springs done last week. This weekend I am finishing the cage and getting the frame and firewall ready for paint.

Still gathering parts for mine. Started rebuilding the narrowed Olds rear last weekend. Put the spindles on the straight axle.

Not a cool early model but was inspired by the black car pictured. Mine will be cross sprung and hairpin front axle and probably not be streetable. Just a weekend toy.

Would like to make Joplin '09 but cash flow will determine if that happens.

Pics of some of the pile of parts included.

Not a HAMB car but it's street legal & pretty quick. Best run was a 10.88 all motor.
