I've been busy in the batcave working out the bugs in the latest incarnation of my Hillbillyborn injection for the 250 six going in the ModelA. I also made a nappy little side cover in one piece instead of two. With the 235 valve cover and the side cover it'll make some people scratch their heads.I still have to make some injector bungs and a fuel rail but I think you get the idea. I've gotta rework the stacks a bit still , they don't fit like I want them to.

No , I just pushed the cowl back until I can flip the firewall for clearance. I'm just using a spare cowl for fitup.

If you follow the same artistic theme throughout the whole build.....that will be one awesome ride!

    Very cool engine work!
What is the 4 bar sourced from, or is it something you made?

Thanks for the kind words guys!
I've been pretty excited about this project. I was at an open house at a speed/machine shop last night and I talked to the flowbench guy about inline tips and tricks. Once I get the setup finished I'll go visit him and see what kind of numbers we can get out of that head.
Plans are 307 forged pop up pistons .030 over , comp solid lifter cam , small block springs and valves , big block rockers , megasquirt ecm , I'm hoping for the 300 hp range, I think it's doable.....hell I'll just be happy to fire this up and hear it sing!

That car is cool as hell. You don't have to make a fuel rail though. Hilborn can hook you up with original fuel lines that mount to electronic injectors. Awesome car either way.

are you going to have to mill a relief in the side cover for distributor clearance ? I recently made my own and had to go back and mill out a section , looks great by the way.
