I have searched in vain for any pictures of his car.Has anyone got any shots of it in their files etc.I used to have the mag with the feature, but I guess it`s got lost.
I remember that it made a big impression on me at the time..it`ll be good to se if my memories hold true or not.
Does anybody know if it still exists or not?

    thanks.

  3. ****ster...could you share that pic with all of us and fire it up on this thread?!?
    Thanks!

  4. Funny, I was just thinking the same thing the other day. I have it on the cover of my last issue but we wanted to do someting different and this is what we came up with. I haven't spoken to JIm in years. I'm in the middle of scanning the cover now.

Wow, I feel like a wanna-be celebrity who's finally coming into his 15 minutes of fame. You guys are all giving me a big head. Special thanx to Emil for the phone call tonight (my bro' in the Lord). I have plenty of pictures of the "Full House" that I can scan in, but I'm not sure how to post them yet, because I just signed up on this site. But it was about time. I'll work on it. If anybody has any input, tell me what to do, and I post some pix.

  8. Jim, I'm glad you made it, I thought I posted, (bragged) after I thanked Dugbred for the link, that we had gotten back in contact and had just spent a great hour and a half on the phone getting reaquainted and fast friends again.
Funny thing Jim, there is another thread about a bronze 40 Ford and in it is the Buick that Terry Cook owned and drove on our cruise from Lk George to the Ty-Rods event in Hudson in 92. The one we were just talking about. Odd, no? LOL, No, not at all right?

Get a photobucket.com account, it is free. Upload your photos there. Follow the directions. To post them here open another window, or tab, and open photobucket, go to the bottom box under the photo you want. Highlight that code, (right click your mouse) it will have in it, then open the HAMB window or tab and paste it into your post.

It's much easier then it sounds.

  10. That rules... Mr. Inglese a HAMBer. I've been drooling over his induction systems since I was a little kid flipping through dad's hot rod magazines and then when he got a Weber kit for one of his rods. My first car-related T-shirt was an Inglese Induction shirt.

I always loved the Full House '32 and the lake pipes poking through the hood sides.

Last time saw you Jim, you were shopping your just released Dearborn Deuce 32 3W wares as well as Hot Rods & Horsepower Ch***is, That was @ SEMA a few years back. I still have the July 02 Street Rodder where you guys announced the body "Coupe De Gras"and where they covered it.

I always thought that it was a great alternative and that with the addition of exposed hinges, roll up windows, stock dash windsheild, window frames, firewall and an already chopped top,it would sell itself.

You had it priced compe***ively even as a package for something like $20k with a ch***is. I always remembered your Full House Deuce, loved it before cream colored paint! It being a gl*** car was no big deal with me. It had the look;). I wonder if you would have applied the same style to the 3W if it would have given you and Craig Knight the return such an undertaking deserved:confused: (It was a very transitional time in 02) Full House was right there at the forefront.

Welcome to the HAMB and hope to see more posts by you.

I had no idea there were so many people who still remember the Full House. Here's the story on the car....I first drove it to York in '88 in primer. At that time, billet was in, and nobody was into retro cars yet. I felt like a freak, and I said to my dad (who's now with the Lord) just before I left, "Nobody in York is even going to look at this car twice, but I like it". That weekend, American Rodder approached me about shooting it for a feature and a calendar. When they did, I thought they were kidding. I still have pictures of them shooting the car at the "chrome diner". That shoot became a calendar the next year. I couldn't believe anybody had any interest in a primered car.

Two years later, I finished the car and it came out in every magazine. Everybody loved it. It was just a car that came together right. I had a balanced and blueprinted 302 Chevy in it with roller "everything", and I ran six 97's on it. That car ran like a bear, and I always shifted it at 7200.

I bought a channeled steel deuce roadtser out of San Francisco with a '57 Cadillac in it in '93, so around that time, I sold ithe Full House to a guy in PA. Right away, he sold the 6 deuce setup (which ran GREAT) and the Olds Fiesta caps off the car, which were MINT originals. The next thing I knew, another man named Jerry Campbell from MD bought it and he took the "FULL HOUSE" off the cowl, and flamed it. ("Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do.") And that's the way the car still looks right now, today, and it's now in California.

I still spot it in magazines once in a while, because it shows up at west coast events. But it's not the "Full house" anymore.

I'll try to scan a shot of it in it's early form when it was in primer, and then I'll send it to Emil and try to bribe him into posting it for me. I still haven't mastered that. Thanks to all you guys for remembering that car...she was a good looker and a real strong runner. I don't own a trailer, and I don't expect to. -Jim

  16. Jim, I first saw the Full House in York in 88, just outside the vendor's building and it was so, just right on.

But back then, nobody was building old "gr*** roots" style cars. That whole thing had not even started yet. Anything "Boyd" was the direction the hobby was heading. I was really coming out of left field with that car.

I have some personal pics of your car Jim.... we spoke briefly..... I had my pickup in york..... 90 or 91 I think.I know it was that event I met Lance Sorchik as well.
I will see if I can locate them.

    Welcome aboard the Hamb.

  21. That's true, it was one of the first Tradional cars around. Or I should say, the first that caught the publishers and rodders eye.

  22. O/T Jeff, I posted some artwork on the HAMB by Jim Malaro who was a very good friend of Lance's. I spent a couple of enjoyable evening at Lance's with Jim, my boy and my graphic artist.

  23. Welcome to the HAMB Jim. You'll love it here. Always loved that car from the first time I saw it (in primer) and still recognize it when I see it which is easy because of it's right-on stance.

So let's get your head a little bigger and see if anyone has a picture of your buddy's A sedan that followed this one.

    Dennis

  24. Jim, send me photos of the blue A sedan.

Kool beans, the full house man hisself is part of the crew now. You sure don't need my picture. Although Jim might remember it, as it was with "Lil" John's red 3W.

The car looks good in both guises...the stance is excellent. It`s a pity it`s been changed I guess, but I don`t know how it looks now, so it would be wrong to judge.

    Thanks for the pix....
