What have you guys brought into the house from the garage/field/junkyard/etc and turned into furniture or "art-deco" or whatever you wanna call it?? I have thought of taking part of the front clip off a 47-53 Chevy and using it as an entertainment center. Making a coffee table out of crankshafts (Hemi, Nailhead, Flathead Ford, etc) Im building a man cave and want some cool ideas. I live to hear people say "WTF is that?"
Here's what I've come up with so far. The lamp parts came from a junkyard for $30. I don't know what they came from, but the bolts that hold the driveshaft to the flywheel are Fiat flywheel bolts that say "FA" and "12.9" on them. Sexy. The TV stand uses Cleveland heads, and the pulls on the bedroom stuff are valves from a local machine shop.
I really like that bedroom dresser! I assume you built the whole thing. Anymore pics of it? What is it built out of?
The frame is 1" X .125" square steel tubing. The wood is maple and cherry. And yes, I did it all. It's pretty heavy, but I think it'll hold up a good long while. It's not really "car art" except for the drawer pulls, but here's the other stuff that goes with it. Took 2 years to build, but I was doing it on and off.
All I have is a '33 Ford wheel with a rusted out lip, bolted to a 4x4 as a garden hose holder, and a SBC flexplate hanging from 3 chains in a tree outside that I put a paper plate full of bird seed on. I do have two restored gas pumps in my living room, I'm not sure if that counts though.
No that does not count. Next! WTF man?? That is freakin awesome. I would love to just have that stuff in my garage, much less my living room or maybe your game room it looks like. That is some nice stuff, post away.
I like the valve/pulls... Makes me kick myself for all the valves I threw away last month! I would try building something like that, but I don't think it would fly with my wife....

Outstanding towel rack. I thought of using the old tie rods from my '53 Chevy but just haven't gotten around to it. Very nice. A one barrel Holley from my '61 F-100's 223 is going to be a pen holder as soon as I yank it out of the can of Berry's. And a race car in the game room?!? Dirty. In a Jenna Jameson kind of way. Yo me gusta.

you guys have some cool as ideas. Here's my contribution. I guess this is more like tool art....wrenches welded together to make a guitar hanger.
. About 24" high, valves are V16 Cat and the bearing cages came from an industrial blower the size of an F350. What looks to be serpentine pulleys is actually oil control (seals) for the large blower's input and output shafts. A series of seals fit into the multiple grooves to prevent oil leakage at extremely high pressures. . My oldest brother had the ragtop and my 2nd oldest had the hardtop version... .
