ok weve been threw another surprize b day party ( rusty pipes ) windfields & watsons show which by the way kicked ass!sunday when i got back to the shop i finished the 2nd green panel which concluded this paint job!!!!!

early sat morning the first green panel

 

saturday me and mike the FNG got the fenders , & the running boards butoned up.mike polished all the caps i started un masking and re masking so i could lay down the lihgt green and turn the page on this bitch....this is as far as i got before leavin to rusty pipes surprize party

i figured i d finish after i got back!

 

well after phils party i desided to not finish the truck ( since i never did find a trailer to take the truck to genes show ) i didnt want to be all tired if the truck wasnt gona make it.
any ways the show rocked and heres proof

Quick tech Question, Alex.....Is that thinline left behind under the blue fineline tape just the gold basecoat masked off????? The darker green panels seem to fool the eye to think its a LOT lighter yellow-gold striping

 

Damn fine job. Makes me want to get cracking on my 56. Too many projects, not enough time.
