Pics don't do the "awesomeness" of this creation justice. Has to be seen in person. Can't wait to see what is warped vision is next. Congrats!

Dammit Aaron, you ruined my dinner last night!
I had these killer marinated burgers/mushrooms going on the BBQ and just mere moments from being grilled to perfection. Walked into the house for - just a minute - and saw the mail sitting there with Rod & Custom on top - BOING!
Started going on and on showing the wife your car and talking about the buildup posts on the hamb and how great the thing is, blah, blah, blah and quite some time later....SHIT - the burgers!
Not just burnt, but absolute cinders - almost disappeared completely.
Ended up having a frikken salad instead :(

But I do hafta say, that of all that genre of wild Jetsons'ish 60s style showrods, that is now by far my all-time fave and not just because I got to watch some of it come together on here, but because it is both wild and understated at the same time.

I liked your previous builds, but you really reached a whole new level with that one.

  8. Yup, great cover and great article. Well done Aaron!

Got it in the mail last night. Tremendous accomplishment. Well deserved congratulations. The pic in the barn with the farmer and pitchfork, the farmer looking sideways, somewhat fearful, at the car like it is from outer space is a classic.

I'd like to see that car in person sometime, and meet Aaron for a beer.

Thats an outstanding car, and I remember reading of some of your uphill battles here on the HAMB.

I showed my wife Mark's '55 that he picked up, got a kick out of the electronics in that thing, and the fact that that stuff still works well. I mean, hell, the whole cars beautiful, but those that know me know I'm an electrichead!

Congrats Aaron. Getting the cover is well deserved. The pic is great, but I have to tell you seeing it in person is the the tops. Drive as far as you have to see this car. It does not disappoint. Thanks again for bringin it to Austin last year for the Round Up. Still my favorite pic of The Punk is "Weez Under Glass"
