    This thread is waaaayyy cool!

I have just listed my meteor on ebay last night as it unfortunatly has to go due to my new living arrangements.... I just cant afford to leave it in storage whilst I'm off for a few years interstate. Sure sux the bags but at least it will be getting used (hopefully)

  12. Here's my daily driver; a little too new for most Hambers but still pretty cool.

1974 AMC Hornet Sportabout showing the factory aluminum slots. A AMC 360 will be going into this hopefully soon.

It has a repaint of the original Ivory Green color. Lowered up front.

My other long roof and for sale is a 1974 Ford Econoline windowless panel van. This van was used in the filming of the movies Love Ranch, starring Joe Pesci and Helen Mirren; the story of the Mustang Ranch bordello to be released in 2009 (we also provided the 1974 Lincoln Continental Mark IV that Joe drives though out the movie) and A Lonely Place to Die which just wrapped filming here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was also used in a College of Santa Fe student horror flick that supposedly the Sci-Fi channel is interested.

Recently picked up this '64 Tempest wagon:

One owner, 326/auto, and runs great. Needs work on the quarter panels, and the front sheetmetal and grilles were beat. Old guy passed recently, and a guy I know bought it to flip, and knew I've been wanting a 4 or 5 wagon for years now.

Right away we dropped it a little in front, and threw on some rally wheels, wider tires, dual exhaust, rear brakes, and changed all the fluids.

Over the last 2 weekends, we swapped out all the front sheetmetal and grilles. While at it I detailed the engine compartment a little. Ended up painting the engine black to avoid an overspray nightmare when trying to go with the correct blue. Also added an internally regulated alternator, HEI dist, and M/T valve covers.

A rear bumper is on order from the Bumper Boyz, and in process of restoring the black CA. plates.

Next up is adding the P/S system I took off my convertible, single piston disc brakes I have stashed back, and installing the Airlift rear bags and compressor I have for it as well.

Helped to have a lot of parts for it before I even got it. :D

Trying to get it presentable looking for a spare car/driver type thing for the time being.
