rodknocker It's a draw-through setup. It works fine. He's only had it running for a couple of months and is still fine tuning, but runs good. Ed
I've seen some cool 4 doors. Never seen a 4 door cooler than a 2 door in a model offered both ways. With that said, my current project is a 64 nova wagon so I'm down with 4 doors. Rods and customs are cool, build what you got, what you can afford, whatever - as long as its not one of those rat rod eyesores.
For years I did have the opinion that four doors are parts cars like a lot of guys that chimed in on this thread but in the last few years I have changed my mind. There are a lot of four doors that are not valuable cars that are in really nice shape. The thing that I am see is that it is giving a lot of young people the ability to get into the old car hobby inexpensively and have just as much fun as the guys with valuable two doors. I encourage it now. I think that the car hobby was starting to be for the haves and not the have not years ago which was leaving the young kids out. Now we are seeing a lot of pre 30 year old guys and gals showing up at shows and having an interest in cars that may have not been there as most of them have grown up in the front wheel drive cars are only transportation decades where cars don't have any personalities. So they are really enjoying something old and having a lot of fun with it.
