O.M.G!!! There is some very nice stuff just wasting away there - the conditions look just too conducive for rust. I imagine that some of the ones with the leaf litter piled up to the underside of the doors would not have much of a floor left in them
There was 2 or 3 30's coupe's that have been race cars. Most of the cars was very rusty, but I suppose they have been there for a long time.
Also, that maroon 67/68 Mustang fastback shell and the white 69 Mustang with "little boss" painted on the back. I'd check the VIN on that whire car to see if it is a REAL boss car!
Any one notice the 55 Merc wagon tail lights in the 56 ford 2 door? Worth more that the car it's self.
looks like a cool place to just look around, when i was a younger we could walk around the junk yards around here, but not anymore.
That '55 Victoria with the Mercury wagon tail lights doesn't look all that bad. Top of the line just under the Crown Vic for that year.
I'm here in South Carolina, but I'm gonna' take a guess that this is, or used to be, Waite's Garage on Snyder's Lake Road outside Wynantskill. Across the street was Pine Bowl Road which led into the OLD Pine Bowl Speedway. It's been closed for at least 30 years. I had one of the Waite's as a student in my high school shop cl*** in the early 70's. Think his name was Johnny and he dated a cute little blonde, think her name was Betty Abrams.
If I were showing these pictures, the last picture would have been of my trailer with that 3W on it in front of my shop. You need to go back and find out what it'll take to get that car out of there. The Merc wagon tail lights in that '55 and the roof off of that 67/8 Mustang fastback would be good pieces too for resale. Make yourself a profit and save some good stuff.
This yard does have alot of kool stuff...Its been awhile since i've been there but there is a couple yards around that have stuff that would just blow your mind...Nows the time to go so you dont get poision ivy or whatever...
Took the words right out of my mouth! I would have checked to see what the price was on the taillight ***emblies.
Just when I complained that all the good stash was way out of reach in places like Cali, Washington, Utah, Iowa, Texas, and Oklahoma, etc., this right-coast treasure island surfaces. Good stuff!
the owners of that yard must just be filthy rich to let that stuff sit and rot. they need to get thier sorry ***es on the interweb and sell some of that junk.
35-36 3-window coupe! You really need to work on getting that out, at least the doors (and maybe the top and sections surrounding it for a 5 to 3 conversion) if nothing else. I like looking at these threads, but usually don't post in them, but man, oh man, you just don't see those very often.
