Vintage air scoops, air cleaners......

I just love this air cleaner
Got one on every car I own and on my dad`s car to.

 

Ive got 3 of there for my 94's. got them of ebay australia, cool thing is Maund web site doesnt list them with the smooth upper anymore just fully finned

 

This is my friends roadster. I love these Badger scoops. Does anyone know when they came on the market? I don't see them in any of Kiwi Kevs catalogs.

 

No I don't. As far as I know they are not reproducing them and therefore they are just lucky flea market scores. I bought this one before I had an engine or carb to put it on.



A couple more in my stash but these are for the smaller neck 4 bbls.

i run this one on a bbc with holley 3-2s. a buddy sand cast this to match offy valve covers. uses a ford oval filter.

 

50`s mercury outboard gas tank.

I just went out on my lunch break and picked up an ablong finned aluminum air cleaner from a local Hot Rod shop. I post a pic tonight after I get it on my motor.

This is on my 32 coupe. It is a stainless steel lid from a cooking pot
found at a yard sale for one buck.

BOETTGER.......On my Ardun 6 X 2's , hard to find , took about 10 years to find these + a few extras from upgrades.........

 

.63 each..........Hell, I'd pay ten times that for them! eheh.

 

Cast aluminum Nicson spark arrestors from a marine application on a vintage TR1 tunnel ram from Edelbrock. Two Holley 660 center squirters.

 

All they fit into the following categories:
too small
way too small
way, way too small
just leave the shop rang in it

 

dig them "Continentals"
