There were quite a few of us who recall the big changeover. We had to re-up then, lost all our history and could not access any of the old posts, because the old board ceased to exist.
I wasn't in the first wave to re-up, I think I waited a couple days, probably not three, which is why I'm #146.

I remember the big change over very well. I was a bit more active on the old board, very seldom post, but I still check in here several times daily. As a matter of fact 49259 out of the 55384 registered members are either FNG or Alliance Members with FNG post count...49 or less. I don't know where the 65K figure came from. The member list is 55K and change.

Lot of lurking....not saying that is bad. I mean we have some huge post counts that have been earned by welcoming everyone who posts an intro. I guess some folks have a Wal-Mart greeter gene.
