That Mustang belongs to my friend Lou. He used to live down the road from me until 2 years ago when he and his wife moved to S.C. The Mustang was bought new by his Father and has been a custom for about 25 years now.I rode to Columbus in it with him to the first Good Guys show.

Now thats funny. The traditional police are raggin on a car that really was built back in the day! I guess people did build cars the way THEY liked them, and not to impress the masses.

I actually liked this car. I found myself taking pics of it then backing off because it was a mustang. Then I said fuck it, cool is cool and the car is quality. If it was a Galaxie would that make it right?.......perhaps but not certainly.

Like I said thats what makes hot-rodding, I really liked the side pipes but the skirts threw me off, although sometimes the things that grow on you are the things you like the most.

So who did I pass in their pickup on the way home in Concord on Central Heights? I was in the jacked up Scout giving the thumbs up.

  6. that may be a quality built car, and it may have been built 25 yrs ago, but to me (& this is just me) it's just not right. it is like the fastback mustang a few yrs back that was 99-04 front sheetmetal on a 67 fastback shell. Yeah it's different but why? or like the r.. rod with pvc intake. Just not for me. ** I am a mustang owner & former employee of a mustang resto shop, this may be why I was against the mods done to the car**

  7. What Cabriolet are you talking about?

FYI ... this (very nice) car was built from a "Dearborn Deuce Convertible" (with a fully disappearing top & power windows) ... not one of Henry's Cabriolet bodies (with fixed windshield, folding top, and roll-up windows):

Great pics. My two year old was running a fever and I had to stay and take care of him while the wife was at work.
