You need to turn it into a gasser, and run it with a mobile home straight axle under the front with those mobile home two piece wheels.

Nice. I know of another guy who's building a T bucket in an old mobile home. I also know of a guy who has a '58 Retractable parked inside an old school bus.

Wierd where people stash cars away.

Not to derail the thread too far but what years were you there? Twice, once in '88 and again in the early 90's, I spent 3 months packbacking all over Australia and staying at hostels. Perhaps our paths crossed. Which locations and when??

I remember it as well and think he was a friend of Don Dillard, DRD57.

I know where there's one in an old chicken house that's about to fall down on it. I put it there about 20 yrs. ago, need to get it moved over to the tobacco barn. A good farmer rotates his crop doesn't he??
Nice find, I'll help you move yours if you will help me move mine. It wasn't much of a problem putting it in at 40, but getting it out at 60 is going to be a PITA.

Hey! You do what you hafta do. In the early sixties, I did the inital build on my "T"-Bucket in the basement of my folks home. Spent most of the winter working on it. (My mom complained about the "strange smells" sometimes.) Come spring, a couple of buddy's and I took it apart and put it back together in the garage. Remember, this is Minnesota, the garage was unheated, and I wanted to work in comfort! :D
