    My Neighbor came up yesterday and offered it to me for $500,,so i picked it up..Did i get a deal?,,im thinking its worth at least twice that?,,,jim

    Thanks much for the responce,s on it, funny i definitely wasn't looking for a new project right now or looking to spend any money these days,my consumer confidence is in the tank like most of us but knew i shouldnt pass on this one..Im not sure of the direction im going with it but I know i like them in white and will probly go the thunderbolt look but without the tear drop hood

    This is very true but I wish people would also add that its proper to use a post car for a thunderbolt clone because all the real thunderbolts were sedans. I have seen a lot of very nice sport coupe hardtops too though.

    This is one of the few cars (perhaps only) that is more desirable as a sedan than a hardtop because of the t-bolt clones. If you are going to build it, then you really need to make it look like a t-bolt from the outside. A 427 would be nice, but not always realistic.

    I assume someone added the factory seats and console. You never see them in a sedan.
