I love all the details of the truck, but the extra cab just kills it for me.

I'm lukewarm on the cab also. But it is stock height, not chopped? Just a couple more inches off the top would really make a big difference IMHO.

The rear fender detail, bed, paint, and pipes came out pretty killer. I wasn't too excited about that area when I saw the bare metal pics of it. But when it is all tied together with the paint design, it really comes together. Congrats to the builder.

Kenny Lotz is a wizard. The Merc and the Volvo are customer cars; the '39 sedan is his own. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

    Me too!

Absolutely beautifully built, no doubt. i just always see an extended cab as something the "Truckin" crowd would appreciate. I don't think of customs built in the70's as traditional and I am pretty sure that extended cab trucks didn't exist until the 70s? Put it all together and it's a great lookin truck, but far from traditional. Perhaps that wasn't the goal? None the less, it's well done.

Wow, what a great thread. Thanks to everyone who's contributed. It's great to see that customs are alive and well.
Here is one that was posted on another thread. It belongs to Frankenstien's dad.
    It's a great blend of 50s & 60s styling. I love the fact that it's not chopped.
