So we went to the move in last night. It is just a thrill seeing the cars get moved in. So with out further words................the move in
Seeing this moving, running and being driven was just cool as hell...sorry, no other way to say that...enjoy
This was an excellent show today. Good to see Mike Szuba again. The cars and the weather were both fabulous.
All I can say is wow!!!!!! What a line up! That's pretty damn cool they're actually driving cars on the gym floor. Around here they chew your ass out for walking on them with street shoes!!!
Thanks for posting those pics. That looks like Jay Fitzhugh's all Thickstun equiped duece three window. It should be featured in a magazine.........
Thanks guys. This was just what was inside. The show was a total cool happening. I have not uploaded the other 256 pics from outside. Mike and his group do a great job. There was a rumor that it might not happen again but I hope that is a rumor only. I can hardly wait to see TOE's pics. I'm sure they will be great.
Cool seeing the Knotts Berry Farm wagon in the back there. Watched that thing wheelstand at a track here in NZ around the very early 80's.
one of the cool parts of the show for me was seeing my bud Jeremy the stripperwho layed the lines on my car last year. This kid has a great eye and does nice stuf.....not to mention he makes me laugh
The one on display at Jalopyrama today was a non-runner. There were two built. One to drag and one that was just a display at Knots Berry Farm. This was the display car. Still painted by Roth though...
Wow, great video of the Kart, thanks for posting it! I didn't know anyone was filming it. Did I get to meet you this weekend? I met so many nice folks there, I'd be lucky to remember half of their names! First time at this show, and I'd say I'd come again. Small venue, great hand picked cars, great people (Mike, Jay...) running it. I just wish I knew about the pinstriper's auction, so I could pick up a piece or two!
I was up in that area to see some friends thursday and stayed through sat.. We went to the move in fri. and the show sat. All I can say is I would drive back back next year just for this show, great cars. I hope they have it again.
Thanks to everyone and yep that's my new blue 5 wdw pictured between the two thorns (Clark's & Jay's) just kidding. Junior & Roland -Bad Donkee Hot Rods (with help from Scary Larry, John, Sandi, Big John +++) -pulled it all together for me in just 23 days including the paint job! I still have to pinch myself to see if it's really done & mine - Thanks Guys. Thanks also for those asking 'bout my health, I'm doing much better this year than last fer shure. Jalopyrama Mike
Mike I am so glad you are getting better. It looks like you had another great show. The 5 window looks super. Hi to Sandi & Chris.
Hi everone, just got back from the jalopy rama (maryland show)..i have to say i had a great time...met a lot of nice people...met some fellow hamb members.i usually don't post much, but i wanted to say great video and a special thanks to mike and ken and the guys from goodyear for helping us with the flat on the trailer.. victor collins and the kopper kart clone team.
Gee, all we did was make some new panels for an O-300 Continental going back into a buddy's plane. Oh yeah, and painted the case and cylinders. Lessee....then I had to take a 10yr old garage door opener down and begin the process of replacing it. Went to Pahrump early this morning then back by noon. Uh...and then I accompanied my wife to the store so that she would get the right size shrimp for shishkabob (41-50). Carwise, I guess I drove down to pick up some plugs and wires for the 57, and moved a couple of vehicles around to make it easier to work on the AGDO (auto garage door opener). Pretty much every entry in this thread looks WAY more exciting than my weekend, but at least I got the shrimp I wanted. "any day in a car or a plane is better then a day behind a desk" dj
nice pictures (and cool video),,looks like a good show,,,,, ill have to make that one next year,,,,,,
John, Thanks for posting the great pics. We were really looking forward to seeing you again, but unfortunately things didn't work out. We sure missed one of the east coast's best show, and some gorgeous weather. Can't wait to see the rest of your pics. Sure hope there will be a show next year.........................Woody
