Thats a lot of carb for a stove bolt.
Saw one a few years ago that had one side of the BIG 4bl pluged off. It made for one big progressive 2bl. Ran real good thou.

Here's my '67 250ci in my '64 C-10 pickup. Just put it in last week.

I also have a 292 in my '69 C-20 daily driver. The shop that rebuilt it didn't ream the valve guides properly so it burned a lot of oil, so they warrantied it and built me another head. I got the head on yesterday only to find out they didn't replace the freeze plugs. So it leaked. That was frustrating. But I changed them today so its good to go now.

  9. I am convinced...gonna run my 250 in my upcoming 37 international pickup project...pulled it out of a car that I bought from a buddy...complete with offy intake and tranny...any ideas on where to get a floor shifter for the 3 speed though I am thinking of going with a 5 speed (whats a good swap?)...also did anybody come up with a tee shirt design? I will gladly print them at a reduced rate...if not then I will come up with a design...

The T5 works pretty well behind a 6 from what I hear. I have a rebuilt one in my garage waiting to be installed in my truck, if I don't sell it first!!

Not really OT...but it is a Chrysler 250 flathead 6. Looks like ass right now, but I'm working on it.

Hello to all six offenders, I just brought home my van from where it sat in my grandfathers yard for 14 years. it currently has a 230 but i think i'm gonna change out to a 250. With less then a hundred bucks at the parts store I had it running. My grandfather told me when he parked it that it needed a valve job, well he was right about that but you can't kill a six. And the best part, I can just bring the head right upstairs and work on it in the living room.

No, it's like I said before. The offset is to clear the steering when installing any 194/230/250/292 into a 49-54 car. The mount location is the same on the drivers side for all of them. If you tried to come straight out from the motor, you'll be in the way of the steering arm. Ask me how I know...

  23. Heres my 250, hopefully next year it will look different.

  24. Yup we all hope the same! Nice ratrod...looks like it is marking its turf? Or the Diaper is just too full?

  25. Yep thats my RATROD!! Just like back in the days, take what ya got and what ya can get build a car and go have fun. Unlike alot of other vehicles around this is built to drive and rack miles up!! Besides for the measly $2300 I have in it I have fun in it!
